What’s next for ITIC? Team ITIC share our plans for 2021 and beyond

As the new year dawned, we really hoped that we would be able to welcome the ITIC community back at our Americas and MENA events, but it just wasn’t to be. With the ongoing global effort to slow the spread of Covid-19, we have sadly had to postpone ITIC Americas and ITIC MENA, with both now rescheduled to 2022.

Lock the date for these events in your diary, though, as we’ve secured the destinations for both. We’ll be at the Hilton Cartagena from 5-8 March 2022 for the 11th ITIC Americas and we’ll be at The Oberoi, Dubai from 8-10 May 2022 for our very first ITIC MENA. We can’t wait to see you there and get to the heart of industry issues in each of these diverse regions.

Next up, though – we hope – is ITIC UK on 6 May, which is scheduled to take place in Cardiff, Wales. This country is still under strict lockdown measures at the moment, but they are easing, so we’ll keep a close eye on developments and keep you updated. If we can’t meet in person for ITIC UK this year, we’ll be bringing it to you virtually, so stay tuned for more information on how you can be part of the conversation around challenges and opportunities in the UK travel insurance industry.

Also on our agenda for 2021 is ITIC APAC in Singapore, which is scheduled to take place from 13-16 June at the PARKROYAL on Pickering. This will be a chance to discuss the ways in which the industry has navigated its toughest year to date and explore the intricacies of operating across the Asia Pacific region.

And, of course, our plans for ITIC Global in Madrid from 31 October to 4 November are forging ahead nicely. This will be a chance for the entire ITIC community to come together in one of the first major global industry events since the pandemic began. Taking place at the Hotel Riu Plaza España, register before 14 February to get the early bird rate!

We’ll have news of some exciting competitions related to ITIC Global over the coming months, but in the meantime, we hope you stay safe and well!

Please drop us an email if you have any questions about our upcoming events.
