ATTENDING AN ITIC EVENT
What is ITIC?
ITIC – the International Travel & Health Insurance Conference – is the leading conference series dedicated to the future successful development of the travel and international health insurance industries.
Why should I attend?
ITIC benefits businesses from around the world, giving them opportunities to forge new business connections to insurers, assistance companies, air ambulance operators at TPAs. You can get a feel for what ITIC is really about from this video.
Who can I meet?
Professionals from around the world who are either working in, or connected to, the travel and health insurance sectors.
How do I register?
Visit the page for the conference you wish to attend and you will find the registration options.
What is included in a registration?
The price is per person and includes full access to all listed conference sessions, ITIC social functions (Welcome Reception & Farewell Dinner) and networking connections via the exclusive ITIC app. It does not include accommodation, travel or the cost of bringing a guest.
Can I get access to the ITIC App before registering?
The ITIC App is only available for registered ITIC attendees. Login details are sent when registration has been finalised and payment has been received.
How do I request an international invitation letter to apply for a visa?
If you need to apply for a visa to enter the country in which ITIC will take place, we can provide you with an invitation letter. To receive this letter, you must first register for the ITIC event you wish to attend and then send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org requesting the invitation letter including your name as it appears in your passport.
I HAVE REGISTERED, NOW WHAT?
I have registered online but haven’t received my registration confirmation from Team ITIC.
Team ITIC are based in the UK, if you are working in another time zone you may encounter a slight delay.
Can I share my conference place with a colleague?
No, you cannot share one conference registration with a colleague, but we do offer discounts for group registrations, ask the Team for details.
Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
If you can no longer attend the ITIC event for which you have registered, you can transfer your registration to a colleague. To transfer a registration, please email email@example.com with the full name, job title, company name, industry sector, country, email address and a headshot photo of the new attendee as well as the full name and email address of the person they will be replacing.
How do I make a change to my registration information?
If you need to update how you appear in attendee listings then please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I bring a guest?
Guest tickets for ITIC are available, please contact us for more information. Guest tickets are for non-industry visitors only, and they provide no networking benefits. Guests are permitted to join you by prior arrangement only.
Where can I find the Attendee List?
Once registered to attend an ITIC event, you will be able to access the full attendee list for the event within the ITIC app for that particular event. The attendee list can be found in the “Downloads & Links” tab in the menu bar of the ITIC App.
The Attendee List is only available to those who have registered for the event due to UK data protection laws.
How do I make my hotel reservation at the ITIC rate?
A link to make your reservation directly with the hotel at the ITIC rate is included in your ITIC registration confirmation email. Please note ITIC rate is subject to availability.
What to do if an event I am registered for is rescheduled?
(In this very rare instance) you will not need to do anything! ITIC will automatically transfer your registration to the new date, unless you tell us otherwise.
If you booked accommodation through our ITIC link, the hotel will amend your reservation ready to welcome you on the new conference date!
How much does it cost?
Each conference we hold has got a different price tag attached. We offer you the opportunity to save money with early-bird pricing – sign-up for ITIC emails to get notified of early bird offers.
Do you offer day registration rates?
We do not offer day registration rates to attend ITIC events as it has been determined that the value of the conference is not limited to attendance of a particular day or session, but the quality of connections we bring together throughout the event.
What is ITIC’s payment policy?
When you register for an ITIC event, the last step will take you through the payment process. We accept all major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Your debit or credit card will be charged in full at the time your registration is submitted and will appear on your statement as ‘Voyageur’.
If you experience any trouble submitting the payment, or would like to request an invoice for payment by bank transfer, please email email@example.com and a member of team ITIC will assist you.
What is ITIC’s cancellation policy?
Here’s how cancellation works:
- If you cancel more than 6 weeks from the date of the ITIC event you were due to attend, you’ll get a 40% refund of the amount paid.
- If you cancel 4-6 weeks from the date of the ITIC event you were due to attend, you’ll get a 25% refund of the amount paid.
- You cannot cancel your registration within 4 weeks of the ITIC event you were due to attend and we will not provide a refund of the registration fees paid.
To cancel your registration (and get your refund, if applicable), you will need to notify us in writing at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are entitled to a refund, the refund will made to your original payment method.
These cancellation terms apply regardless of the reason for cancellation.
