Together, we find ourselves in unprecedented times. And never before has the need to remain connected been more pertinent or poignant. Which is why we wanted to bring you an update on our plans for ITIC events in 2020 – and beyond – and to let you know about some of the ways we’re working to support the global travel and health insurance industry.
Right now, we intend for ITIC Madrid 2020 to go ahead as planned. However, we are monitoring global news and advice carefully and will continue to update you if anything changes.
We recently made the difficult decision to reschedule some of our regional conferences. The wellbeing of our community is our absolute priority, and nothing matters more than the health and safety of our attendees, suppliers and teams. If you’re due to attend the now rescheduled ITIC MENA, ITIC UK or ITIC APAC we’ll automatically transfer your registration to 2021 – you can find the new dates for each conference on our website.
While some events have been paused, our teams are using this opportunity to develop fresh ideas for bringing the worldwide insurance community together in new and creative ways.
In order to help everyone stay connected, the ITIC Dubai, Cardiff and Singapore apps will remain live, meaning you can still reach out to your colleagues in these regions and continue making plans for the future.
Networking for you
If you’re joining us at ITIC Global in Madrid, you’ll be able to begin networking very soon through the official event app. At a time when face-to-face isn’t possible, this will allow individuals to connect and communicate across the world, and around the clock. And when we do get together in Spain, it will be to hear an inspiring collection of speakers.
The sum of our parts
It’s an old adage, but we really are greater than the sum of our parts. As the Covid-19 pandemic impacts on every element of society, pooling knowledge, forging connections and collaborating are becoming the greatest tools we have.
At ITIC, we’re facing these new challenges head-on and remain committed to bringing people together. While for now, that might be virtually, we look forward to welcoming you all to your next ITIC in the near future. And, given recent events, there may never be a more critical meeting of minds.
Our team is available to assist you should you have any questions or feedback, get in touch by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or you can use our online chat here on the website.
