Russ Malkin is a British TV producer, director, adventurer, author and founder of Big Earth Productions. He has captivated audiences worldwide with his adventure travel series and documentaries, working with some of the biggest names in the business including film stars Ewan McGregor, sporting icon David Beckham, the legendary explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes and a young Prince Harry.
In his talks, Russ draws analogies between the difficult situations he has encountered while shooting in some of the toughest and most remote terrains on the planet, and the challenges faced in the work environment today. His engaging talks are filled with personal anecdotes and sensible ideas that are both practical and actionable, and have motivated and inspired audiences to unleash their greatness.
For the ITIC audience, Russ will share how he works with industry professionals to assess, minimise and mitigate the risks cast and crews face while travelling to inhospitable environments. There will be some hair-raising stories of how remote teams manage when things go wrong in accessible areas.
