Share a case for discussion at the ITIC Global 2023 Medical Directors Forum

We are inviting submissions for cases to be presented at the Medical Directors’ Forum at the upcoming ITIC Global in Barcelona. Do you have an inspiring case that tested your team’s capabilities that you would like to share?

Led by Dr Bettina Vadera, the Medical Directors Forum will focus exclusively on one topic – this year’s, that topic will be:

High-risk pregnancy away from home: management and repatriation

Pregnancy is not an illness and pregnant women travel for business or pleasure. As expatriates, pregnant women may decide to deliver in the country of their deployment. But when the pregnancy becomes high risk due to unforeseen complications that are threatening the health of the mother or her foetus, special care is often required that may not be available at the local destination. This year’s Medical Directors’ Forum will focus on the challenges of high-risk pregnancy away from home, which is a concern for both assistance and insurance companies, as well as for air ambulance providers
