As the founder of Abril Consulting, Sergio provides strategic advisory services to insurance companies, assistance companies, air ambulance providers, and technology providers, with a particular focus on optimising operations, commercial strategies, and network development.
A dedicated advocate for raising industry standards, Sergio has held leadership roles in esteemed organisations such as EURAMI and USTIA. Since 2018 he has been an active committee member of ITIC Americas, contributing to shaping industry discussions and driving advancements in the travel insurance sector. Throughout his career Sergio has spearheaded global partnerships, enhanced patient evacuation protocols, and delivered innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency, case management processes, and provider identification and utilisation.
Based in the Netherlands, Sergio brings a multicultural perspective to his work, fostering collaboration across diverse markets and stakeholders. Susan Yates

Susan Yates
Susan Yates is Senior Director of Global Healthcare Delivery at Blue Cross Blue Shield Global Solutions, where she leads the Global Provider Network and Digital Health Solutions. She brings extensive experience across the international insurance and assistance sectors, with prior leadership roles at International Medical Group, Falck Global Assistance, UnitedHealthcare Global, and Allianz Global Assistance. Susan focuses on improving customer and provider experience and advancing digital capabilities that expand access to care worldwide.

Marc Banting

Marc Banting
Marc’s career started with the company as far back as 1995, on the repat travel desk for Voyageur 24, before ultimately becoming Director of Travel. He is now Chief Operating Officer for the Voyageur Group. From his first ITIC in Global as a delegate in Nassau, Bahamas, and missing just two ITIC Global events since, he joined the moderating team in Athens 2023 and brings a new energy and style to moderating, and isn’t afraid to ask difficult questions, provoke debate, or laugh at himself.

Ian Cameron

Ian Cameron
Ian Cameron is the Founder of the Voyageur Group of which he is the CEO, and which also comprises ITIC, and he is Editor in Chief of ITIJ. He has been involved in events for over 30 years, and as Chairman of the Executive Committee, Ian has been instrumental in developing the ITIC community, bringing industry professionals together to network, share ideas and insights and build their businesses.

David Ewing

David Ewing
David joined Jackson Health System, a world class academic medical center in 2021 as the International Program Marketing Manager. His responsibilities include growing the international market in Canada, Europe, Middle East and Asia. In addition, working with the domestic market to increase awareness of medical center service lines and increase referrals for specialty services.
David brings over 33 years of experience in the air ambulance/travel health insurance marketplace to the team, over 26 of those were spent with a large Canadian air ambulance operator, where his role was the development and growth of the international market and the development of innovative and collaborative products for their clients.
Currently, David is the Annual Conference Co-Chairman for the Travel Health Insurance Association of Canada (THIA). Alongside his fellow co-chairman and committee, source, produce and present an international conference well attended by members and guests on a yearly basis. Most recently producing virtual events for their members in response to the global pandemic.

Dr Belilty is the Founder and CEO of LOGIMEDEX, a leading Mexican medical assistance company recognised for its nationwide 24/7 response network and innovative model for pre-, intra-, and post-hospital care. Under his leadership, LOGIMEDEX has become a benchmark in Mexico and is expanding across LATAM, delivering efficient, reliable, and patient-centered solutions for international insurers and corporations.
A graduate in medicine from Universidad Xochicalco (2011), Dr Belilty began his career as an emergency physician in Mexico City. He earned a Master’s degree in Strategic Management of Health Organizations in 2014 and later served as Medical Director of Hospital Medical Center in La Paz, Baja California Sur (2015–2020).
His global perspective, expertise in risk management, and commitment to operational excellence have positioned him as a thought leader in medical logistics and healthcare strategy, trusted by partners across diverse markets.

Cristina Cardona Rivas

Cristina Cardona Rivas
Originally from Spain, Cristina Cardona Rivas brings over a decade of experience bridging global health systems, international insurers, and cross-border patient access. She currently serves as the Head of International Contracting and Payer Relations for Latin America and the Caribbean at Mayo Clinic.
Previously, Cristina served as Director of Business Development for Health at AXA Partners US and led the International Program for a major U.S. health system. Her expertise centers on aligning global payers with world-class providers, negotiating complex international contracts, and expanding access to high-acuity care.
Cristina holds a master’s in business administration and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, giving her a good blend of commercial and operational expertise.

Soraia Arroyo Lynch

She brings more than 25 years of executive experience in the international healthcare and assistance industry, with expertise in provider network development, strategic account management, and business development. Throughout her career, she has built long-term relationships with clients and providers, negotiated strategic partnerships, and contributed to initiatives that strengthen healthcare networks across international markets. Recognized for her collaborative leadership style, global perspective, and client-focused approach, Soraia is committed to fostering strong provider relationships and delivering exceptional service. At Redbridge, she leads efforts to strengthen and expand the company’s U.S. provider network, supporting the organization’s commitment to high-quality healthcare solutions for clients and business partners.

Ana Medina is a social communicator and marketing specialist with more than 20 years of experience. She has mainly worked in service companies, developing commercial and marketing strategies. She has been working in medical tourism for 10 years and currently leads the international patient unit of SURA Colombia.

Michelle Royle

Michelle Royle
Michelle is the Group Publishing Manager at Voyageur Group, taking ultimate responsibility for all magazines and websites for the business, alongside her role as Editor of ITIJ. She is a committee member across all ITIC events and has moderated at ITIC Global. Michelle has been in the publishing industry for over 25 years, and has a BA in English from University College Dublin and an MA in Publishing.
