Mandy is Managing Editor of ITIJ and AirMed&Rescue. She has been involved in the international travel and health insurance sector since 2006 and regularly writes about industry issues such as underwriting, consolidation, cost containment, consumer education, fraud, assistance provision and complex air ambulance missions.

Business degree and postgraduate studies in Project Management. Experience in generation of strategic partnerships and projects with private and public organizations at national and international level. Leads the strategy to promote the Colombian Medical Services in America region through events, trade missions, attention to international delegations and participation in international events. Creator of digital strategy www.colombiaturismodesalud.com focused on positioning Colombian Health Sector; show the quality of Colombian medical facilities, statistics and the sector overview.

David joined Jackson Health System, a world class academic medical center in 2021 as the International Program Marketing Manager.  His responsibilities include growing the international market in Canada, Europe, Middle East and Asia.   In addition, working with the domestic market to increase awareness of medical center service lines and increase referrals for specialty services.

David brings over 33 years of experience in the air ambulance/travel health insurance marketplace to the team, over 26 of those were spent with a large Canadian air ambulance operator, where his role was the development and growth of the international market and the development of innovative and collaborative products for their clients.

Currently, David is the Annual Conference Co-Chairman for the Travel Health Insurance Association of Canada (THIA).     Alongside his fellow co-chairman and committee, source, produce and present an international conference well attended by members and guests on a yearly basis.  Most recently producing virtual events for their members in response to the global pandemic.
